May 2nd, 1980...

May 2nd was nothing more than a Spring day to me just 7 years ago. It generally meant the beginning of 90 degree days, flowers in bloom, baseball season in full swing (no pun intended...), the start of snow cone season and the final stretch before Summer vacation. It was always the beginning of something great, but I never knew how great until there was you...

7 years ago, May 2nd became a lot more fun. Now, at the top of the list of things I love about May, there is you. I thank God for you, I praise Him that you were fearfully and wonderfully made, I thank Him daily for bringing you into my life and I am so excited to celebrate you today.

You make me laugh, you make me happy, you make me think, you make me less selfish, you make me a better version of myself. Thank you for loving me, praying for me, serving me and being a wonderful husband and best friend. I'm glad I can celebrate your 30 wonderful years of life lived well! I love you!

I'll add #30 to my list from last year which all still holds true....

30. You always pay attention to when my car needs an oil change and you gas it up, get the oil changed and always take care of tire rotations so I'll be safe and won't have to do it myself. :)
