Nice Little Saturday...

Spring...Glorious spring! Flip flops are out, the first coat of "You're A Pisa Work" has been painted on my toes, white pants are dry cleaned and ready, Opening Day is done, DWTS is 3 episodes in (and how in the world is Kate Gosslin hanging on?) and we have taken the first joy ride of the season....

We went cruisin' on Saturday and it was so nice! I got my first mild sunburn so we know all is right with the world. I stepped onto the boat with my very olive skinned family and quickly realized they only had SPF 4 on board! SPF FOUR?? Why even bother? This coming from a sister who rubs baby oil on and a mother who once sunbathed on the roof with Crisco...don't even get me started on Nana!

I took my camera out for a little bit, and I enjoyed the little things I saw along the way much more than usual because I was looking for them. It made me realize all of the things I miss along the way in everyday life. And as Steven Tyler likes to say, "I don't want to miss a thing..."

As you can see from several of my pictures, I was loving all of the American and Texas flags... We need one for our house, stat! God bless Texas! (And spring...and Saturdays...)
