Living Room Sessions...

Yesterday, I was sitting on the couch reading my Twitter feed and Dave was reading it over my shoulder. He said, "Who is that? Is she a friend from high school?"

I said, "No. I don't know her. We're just blog friends."

Dave: "Blog friends???? What does that even mean??"

Me: "It means we read each other's blogs and have gotten to know each other via blogs. I mean, obviously we've never met in real life.....yet."

He looked at me, completely puzzled, actually bewildered, and said, "You're living this entire 'blog' life and It's like I don't even know you!"

HA! I laughed for a good 5 minutes. I would totally have coffee chips and queso with my blog friends and then when he asks if I really know you I can say YES!

Hahaha. Men just don't understand being interested in other peoples lives!! At one time I was having dreams about blog families I had never met! At least I can say I know you!

I totally feel the same way! I've told people before that don't blog that I almost feel like I know my "blog friends" better than some of my real life friends. I never knew that blogging would form such a community of women. I could absolutely grab a drink with so many of my "blog friends" and I really think it would feel like we've known each other for years!

This is so great! I have these talks often with Cory. We are actually taking a family vacation to meet up with a "blogging friend" this summer. I keep telling him it won't be awkward, I mean I have had lots of chats with this friend and we even call each other twice a month now :) But it will be our first time to meet in real life and we will have our hubbies and kids there! Doesn't it sound crazy!

HAHAHA! (At least he didn't say that about me.) Daniel does that when I show him pics of Kelly's Korner. He's like "who is that". Me: just someone on a blog. Him: Eyes roll back to his spine.

That is tooooo funny! DW used to tease me about it but I've had so much support through my infertility struggles and we've met so many great people and even couples that he never says anything anymore. In fact, I overheard him defending me to another guy who's wife also blogs and he was making fun of it. Loved that!
